This project is a collaboration between EEPF and Nepal Eye Hospital in regards to the ROP management services at Paropakar Maternity and Women’s Hospital.

ROP is one of the leading causes of blindness in Nepal . So 700 premature babies have been screened and ROP was detected in 30% of which approx. 10% of the babies required treatment either in the form of laser or intravitreal anti VEGF. A few patients in stage 5 ( late stage) ROP underwent surgery.
