12th Paila took us to Ghyachok, opposite Barpak, the epicentre of 7.9 earthquake of 25th April 2015, one year after that dreadful day. We had started our 1st Paila on May 23rd, 2015, a week after the second 7.3 earthquake from Sindhupalchok.

Our aim has been to help those in dire needs. Ghyachok taught us many lessons. There are many unattended places like Ghyachok which is a next hill to Barpak but hardly catered. For days people in this village just looked at all the choppers flying over their opposite hill of Barpak but nothing coming to them, even though they had similar issues. The epicenter lies between this hill and Barpak Hill. It was an honor to be at the service of the people of Ghyachok.

Ghyachok wasn't only a health camp, it was also a lesson in so many ways: we learned to always look closer, to never overlook the little things, and be persistent in our want to serve.
