Glaucoma is a one of the leading causes of irreversible blindness worldwide. However, access to portable and affordable methods of assessing the visual field is out of reach for a vast majority of patients, especially those living in rural and remote locations, in developing countries and in domiciliary care. This study is a retrospective analysis on visual field data collected on patients with stable glaucoma, glaucoma suspects or normal controls who have had a prior HFA field test performed followed by MRFonline at a follow up clinical review within a short time. The outcome of the study will validate the role of computer screen perimetry to the gold standard Humphrey visual field analysis. If the outcome of the study shows a good validation of the computer screen perimetry, then, this form of visual field testing can be applied to patients with glaucoma in a cost effective way which can be conducted in rural areas of Nepal.
